Oswald has over 20 years of experience in the governance, risk management and compliance field. Vikeshni joined the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA) in January 2015 as a Governance and Legal Specialist within the Centre for Corporate Governance and was promoted to Executive: Governance and Corporate Services in February 2019. She during her time at the IoDSA has contributed and/or co-authored a number of general guidance papers and practice notes, including the King IV SME Sector Supplement. She is a member of the IoDSA Corporate Governance Network, Remuneration Committee Forum, Public Sector Audit Committee Forum, Anti-Intimidation and Ethical Practices Forum Evaluation Panel and the King IV Practice Note Working Group.
Vikeshni is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, with a BCom (Accounting) and LLB degree from the University of Kwazulu-Natal and a LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Glamorgan (Wales). Prior to joining the IoDSA, she specialised in corporate and commercial law as well protection of personal information advisory/consulting, which has provided valuable commercial and business acumen to her current role within the IoDSA.

Sonja Dunne is an admitted Attorney with an LLB and holds Postgraduate Certificates in Compliance Management, Corporate Law and Drafting and Interpretation of Contracts. She Practiced as an Attorney in various roles from Associate Attorney to Head of Litigation before moving to the corporate sector in 2013, where she was Group Head of Legal for Itec, who specialises in sales, distribution, finance and service in the office automation and telecommunications sector. In 2018 she moved to Reckitt Benckiser in the FMCG sector, where she was appointed as Head of Legal, Compliance Officer and Company Secretary for Africa, Hygiene and Home. She has vast experience over multiple areas of the law and corporate sector and aims to enhance this with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at Henley Business School, which she is currently in the process of completing.

Ross is a technology and disputes lawyer based in Cape Town. He is the head of the technology law practice in South Africa, as well as the leader of the technology and innovation headlight in South Africa.
Ross has extensive experience running commercial and regulatory disputes and business restructuring matters in the telecommunications industry, both in South Africa and in Nigeria.
During 2017 and 2018, Ross took a 2-year hiatus from practice during which time he acted as the general counsel at a technology start-up based in the United Kingdom and Switzerland. In particular, he advised on all elements of data privacy, including the applicability and implementation of the GDPR, as well as on issues relating to IP protection. He was also involved in negotiating and drafting software as a service agreements as well as software licensing agreements.
